Schneckenburger Library
The Schneckenburger Library Online Catalog is an interactive resource for students, teachers, families, and all stakeholders. Users can search the online catalog for grade appropriate books, quality websites, while also creating and printing a Resource List of all materials that meet the user’s needs. Another feature of the catalog, Destiny Quest, allows users to view the “Top 10 Books” and “New Arrivals.” To search specifically for websites, the user should access Webpath Express, which creates lists of relevant, quality websites for particular grade levels. Another feature of the online catalog is the online resource links on the catalog’s homepage. Users can access databases both at school and home. Contact Mrs. Charboneau for username and password for home access (access outside of school) and for any additional assistance.
Happy searching!
Library Databases
The World Book Online Encyclopedia database provides students with resources to develop their information literacy skills, meet their research needs, and impact student learning. In today’s technology rich society, our school library strives to provide the electronic resources that meet the needs of all students for engaging learning experiences.
Our Book Flix database provides access to online fiction and nonfiction titles for students to explore resources on a variety of different curriculum areas and topics. There are also activities to help assess student comprehension and learning associated with each pair of fiction and nonfiction titles.
Please contact Mrs. Charboneau for username and password to access these resources remotely!
