Mardi Gras Celebration
By: Noah Richard, 5th Grader
On Friday, February 9th, Schneckenburger School held a Mardi Gras celebration that took place in the gym. The beginning of the parade kicked off with Pre-K students throwing beads from wagon floats to all the other grades. Everyone had a great time and caught beads. The queen of the parade was a hamster, and there was even a student dressed in a dinosaur costume! The Schneckette dance team did a dance that the crowd enjoyed. Then, each grade level did a skit or a cheer to prepare students for testing. In the bleachers, parents sat and enjoyed the parade too. Mrs. Rome, the teachers, and staff were all proud of how well each group did. It was a great time for all!
