October 23-31: Red Ribbon Week Many activities are planned for this week. The Drug Free Pledge will be read on the morning announcements daily by a selected 5th grader.
There will be door contest for all homeroom classes. Best use of theme “Superheroes have the power to say no to drugs!”
Grades K through 2 will be able to participate in a drug free theme coloring contest.
Drug-Free bracelets will be distributed to all students on Monday. The bracelets will stay at school.
Grades 3-5 can participate in a poster contest to come up with a drug free slogan using our superhero theme.
Students will get information on Friday, October 20 and will have until Wednesday, October 25 to bring in posters or coloring sheets.(Winners will be selected at the end of the week and be awarded a drug-free prize item).
Their work will be displayed throughout the school.
Monday, October 23: I have Schneckenburger Drug Free Spirit. Wear your SCHOOL SPIRIT SHIRT.
Tuesday, October 24: Door Contest Judged. “Sock” it to drugs. Wear silly or mismatched socks. CRAZY SOCK DAY!
Wednesday, October 25: Put a “CAP” on drugs, CRAZY HAT DAY! Wear your favorite hat or make a silly hat.
Thursday, October 26: Wear RED today! Wear a red shirt with your uniform bottoms to show you are drug free.
Friday, October 27: “TEAM UP” against drugs and WEAR FAVORITE TEAM JERSEY OR SHIRT with your uniform bottoms.
Monday, October 30: $1.00 donation for Dollars for Scholars WEAR A SUPER HERO SHIRT OR COSTUME!
Tuesday, October 31: Fall Fest
