K-Kids: K-Kids is a student service organization providing its members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership skills. We help our community in varies ways throughout the year. Students in 4th & 5th grade are eligible. Sponsors: Jessica Nelson, Lora Pertuit
Schnecknettes: Students in 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades are eligible to try out. The Schneckettes perform throughout the year for school activities: Fall Fest, Winter Program, Kenner City Park Holiday Performances, Lafreniere Park Holiday Performances, Mardi Gras/Testing Rally, Driftwood Parade, and Field Day.

Student Ambassadors/Library Leaders Service Organization: Mission: The student ambassadors/library leaders’ service organization is a special opportunity for fifth grade students to actively participate and lead school events and activities, library programming and services, and organization tasks. The student group will serve as school and library role models and learn and utilize their knowledge to select, organize, and shelve books proficiently, maintain and update the technology resources, and complete school and community projects, while helping create a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment.
Students are selected to serve as Student Ambassadors/ Library Leaders Service Organization because of their outstanding school leadership, class participation, above average library and communication skills, and role model manners/
behavior. Students must be willing to actively serve as a leader at school events/activities, conduct interviews, write school newsletter articles, help provide library services during library classes and participate in leadership and library tasks for one scheduled morning per week.
