Schneckenburger Elementary School librarian Mrs. Broussard partnered with From Student to Scientist, a service organization formed by Ben Franklin High School students who are on a mission to share STEM activities and create student scientists. Schneckenburger’s STEM learning centers kickoff event for the partnership with “From Student to Scientist” was held on Friday, October 26th for 4th grade students. Activities focused on circuits, geometric building and design, robotics, and conductors/insulators. This ongoing partnership begin through the Brown Foundation Service Learning Grant Program. We hope to grow the program at our school and impact student learning through STEM learning opportunities and resources!
